Personally, I love the art of makeup as it is one of my most favorite things to do and it is something that I can see myself working on as well. Therefore, I always watch beauty related content on all social media platforms, including TikTok. Mikayla has shared a lot of her career and personal journey on TikTok relating to how she got to where she is today. She is truly an example of growth and influence, as you can clearly see all her growth online.
Mikayla influences me by inspiring me. She inspires me to continue to pursue my love for makeup. Her story is also inspiring to many because Mikayla started posting during the pandemic after being laid off from Ulta, and now she is one of the most well-known makeup influencers (and a great one to say the least).
Not only does Mikayla influence me on social media on a personal level with her journey/story, but she also influences me to purchase beauty products that she recommends. I trust that her reviews are genuine so when she recommends a product in one of her TikTok videos, I get influenced to purchase it immediately.
